Tips and Tricks
To avoid two trips to the registry, arrive 20-25 minutes prior to your scheduled road test to allow time to obtain your prepaid test permit.
Your road test cannot proceed without this permit.
This basic road test should take around 30 minutes in time.
Don't forget to also bring important documents such as:
- Class 7 learner's licence
registration for the vehicle you will test with
- Test permit (which you will receive when you arrive and confirm your reservation)
Without these documents, your Class 5 probationary road test can not begin, and will result in the forfeit of related fees (service fee and reservation fee).
You must provide your own testing vehicle
Ensure that the vehicle that you are using to take your road test is in proper working condition, such as:
- Signal lights
- Brake lights
To prevent the forfeiting of fees, be sure to carefully read and understand the terms and conditions that you will receive in your confirmation email.
